McKinley Lewis serves as a Senior Vice President of Accounts at On 3 Public Relations and most recently served as Deputy Communications Director for Florida Gov. Rick Scott. He previously served as the Communications Director and Press Secretary for the Florida Department of Corrections. Prior to that time, he was a communications specialist at the Florida Department of Health.
McKinley honed his political, government and crisis communications experience as a senior member of the Scott Administration. In leadership positions at both the Department of Corrections and Executive Office of the Governor, McKinley served as the lead crisis communications advisor responsible for crafting and executing statewide policy and communications strategies while maintaining positive relationships with local and national media organizations. His has a proven record in both the private and public sector, leading successful public relations campaigns and statewide media strategies through grassroots advocacy, public affairs, media relations, branding, editorial development, social media strategy development and integration, special-events coordination and strategic public relations.
McKinley is a 2013 graduate of Florida State University with a degree in Communications. McKinley lives with his wife, Meghan, daughter, Addison, and two pups, Koda and Tucker, in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.
